Gantry
A simple, private, one-handed launcher for GrapheneOS, with an Airlock that keeps tracking apps sealed away.
- No analytics, no Google dependencies
- Works with the Network permission revoked
- Airlock contains tracking apps in Android's private space
Gantry is a vertical, one-handed launcher with a glanceable dashboard and a security feature the alternatives don’t have: the Airlock. It repurposes Android’s private space as a containment area for apps that track you. Your clean apps launch from the gantry as normal. Seal the airlock and the tracking apps inside are fully stopped. The rocket in the dock shows at a glance whether containment is open.
Features
- Home dashboard: date, weather, big clock, battery, price ticker, and a now-playing widget. Every component can be toggled, configured, and given a custom tap action.
- Airlock: contained apps show amber rings and hatch glyphs everywhere. Tap a sealed app to unlock and launch it in one motion. Long-press the dock rocket to seal or open the airlock.
- Tags: one organization model. Home and Dock are reserved tags, custom tags group and filter the drawer, and everything can be reordered by drag.
- Drawer: an alphabet rail with magnifier scrubbing, search where Enter launches the best match, and notification dots with optional previews.
- Appearance: adaptive or custom colors, ten bundled open-license fonts, a font-size slider, and a custom background image or solid color.
Privacy
Offline by default. Weather (Open-Meteo), the price ticker, media, and device location are each opt-in. Revoke the Network permission and Gantry keeps working.
